I'm about to buy a QC 9000. Since I need Linux compatibility i'm actualy waiting for the version which i read should be released in Q4.
While browsing the web, i just found a 9PL number on a QC 9000 (960-000314) which is not mentioned in the compatibility-file on this website. Any chance this could be the new version ?

That one is the Business Edition of the QuickCam Pro 9000, so for the moment it will also just contain the 860-000109. I will add these business editions to the next version of the device list. I also hope I will have the 8... product numbers of the new version by that time.
