Good morning!

Please add the following QuickCam's that are missing from the Logitech USB Video Class (UVC) Device List...

1) QuickCam Chat (PN 961462-0403) $29.99 USD

2) QuickCam Connect (PN 960-000217) $29.99 USD

3) QuickCam for Notebooks (PN 960-000010) $39.99 USD

4) QuickCam Communicate STX (PN 961464-0403) $49.99 USD

Please work with BerliOS to update their drivers, and their 'Linux UVC Driver and Tools' list

+++++++

Many thanks,
Larry
Please also add/verify the following three (3) cameras:

PID_089D ; Olive Oly 3.0, Logitech QuickCam E2500
PID_08CF ; Cambay - default (UpdateMe)
PID_09C2 ; Sully 1.3, ROZ, QuickCam Communicate Deluxe

Thanks.
All of those cameras are either non-UVC cameras and therefore deliberately not on the "UVC camera list" or not valid device PIDs. The non-UVC ones can be found here:

http://www.quickcamteam.net/hcl/linux/logitech-webcams

I'm working on a better structure for the device list but the new list will most likely only be for UVC cameras, the other ones may stay in their current format.
For:

PID_089D ; Olive Oly 3.0, Logitech QuickCam E2500

Sorry... I missed this one.

For:

PID_08CF ; Cambay - default (UpdateMe)
PID_09C2 ; Sully 1.3, ROZ, QuickCam Communicate Deluxe

These PID's are invalid?

I have seen one (or two) reports of PID_08CF in the Users Discussion Forum.

PID_09C2 is supported by QuickCam 11.7.0.1200 and QuickCam 11.8.0.1065 (PRO5).

Thanks.
My Oops!

Thanks your input!

Much appreciated.

Larry

KW: PID 0x08CF does not belong to any known camera. 0x09C2 does but AFAIK only for the Japanese market. The new device list will take care of that.

Larry: No problem. I know the current list is a little difficult to find and not well structured. I'm currently creating the content for the new device list, which will have more information and will be easier to find/use.

Information from the camera tag:

M/N: V-UBH44
P/N: 861238-0000
PID: LN64584 (Week 45, 2006)

Is that what the ROZ stand for?

Thanks.

Please add the following camera to the device list:

USB\VID_046D&PID_09A5 ; Orca, Logitech QuickCam 3000 for Business (UVC ?)
QuickCam 11.7.2.1072

Thanks.
