Website change suggestion: qcexpress driver has been renamed

Hi,

I wish this website had a higher google ranking, that would have saved me searching Smile

Anyway, with the help of your webcam ASIC & drivers list I dived into the drivers, and found some outdated info.

http://www.quickcamteam.net/software/lin...ss-driver/ is a little outdated. The website URL (http://qce-ga.sourceforge.net/) is still the same, but the driver has been replaced by a totally new one (the 'qc-usb driver' which was formerly on http://tuukkat.awardspace.com/quickcam/quickcam.html)

The catch? The driver is now also called 'quickcam', not 'qcexpress'.

This means that there are two drivers called 'quickcam' around.
And that actually figures, because the other 'quickcam' driver mentioned on http://www.quickcamteam.net/hcl/software/linux/drivers (Messenger & Communicate) is actually a fork of an older version of the qc-usb driver.

I guess you should replace the name 'qcexpress' mentioned on the page http://www.quickcamteam.net/software/lin...ss-driver/ and the list http://www.quickcamteam.net/hcl/linux/logitech-webcams, by 'quickcam'. That means that there are two (forked) drivers named 'quickcam' in the list now.
I can confirm that they are not the same; I have a cam with PID 08F5, which is not recognised by the qc-usb(formerly qcexpress) driver, but it is by the forked-qc-usb(quickcam) driver.

oh, BTW: http://home.mag.cx/messenger/ (the home of the driver which is now called 'quickcam' on your site, the "Messenger & Communicate driver") seems to be offline but I guess (hope) that's temporary. It was unline until yesterday.

I've finished the updates. The names are a little confusing but I guess we'll just have to live with that unless one of the projects decides to rename their binaries. ;-)
