Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe (08D8)

The table on non-UVC webcams [1] lists the Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe (PID 08D8) as "might work with spca." I'm reporting that it works with the GSPCA/SPCA5xx driver (version 1.00.20) [2] on CentOS 5.2 (kernel 2.6.18-92.1.18.el5).

I installed it with the "gspca_build" command and tested camera function with Ekiga (a VoIP client). I can also confirm prior reports that the driver works with the Logitech QuickCam Chat (PID 092E).

Most likely it's not. The product number 960-000044 on the Amazon page suggests that they're selling this camera (PID 0x09C1) and that the picture is wrong.

The table on non-UVC webcams [1] lists the Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe (PID 08D8) as "might plan with spca." I'm advertisement that it works with the GSPCA/SPCA5xx disciplinarian (version 1.00.20) [2] on CentOS 5.2 (kernel 2.6.18-92.1.18.el5).
